I think it's still supposed to be a shorter season than the other 2 seasons, but still longer than a mini series! If I recall correctly they estimated it would go for about a year.

I'll be honest, I was not a big fan is season 2. I felt like the group lost their grip on what made season 1 so amazing. This episode brought back the magic for me Every character is great, and you all seem way more comfortable in playing them. Will is going to do great as DM if he continues the vibe from this episode. I will find myself quoting Cookie all the time and my favorite line to this day ‘I’m gonna fight em’…then I’m gonna fuck em!’ Will, saved him for last. Buddy you carried the entire emotional weight of the story in season one and season two. You are such a talented man, and Rocks Rock is still one of the most amazing in character songs I’ve ever heard. If I could sit down and talk with one of the cast members it would definitely be Will. You can just hear in his voice and by his choice of words that Will is probably one of the sweetest dudes you’d ever have the privilege of speaking with. You’re all such a huge part of my life and I’m sure the lives of all these amazing fans. Thank you so much for everything you’ve given us over the years, I hope this team stays together for all of eternity but 10 years from now I know for a fact you will still be my favorite podcast regardless of anything.

I relistened to this episode and think you’re totally right. Matt makes a comment about how Trudy is a great bowler and says “her body moves super precise” and Beth just quickly says “yep” and moves on. When she stutters, “it was just-it was just- it was just” it sounds like she’s malfunctioning. And why is she so strong? A dainty little housewife but she has 60 in strength? Like a “sleeper soldier” or a robot 🤨

Yes exactly!!! Matt also says she’s “mechanically flawless” and her stutter is what made me think that in the first place it could have been a mistake but if not it definitely felt like a malfunction! But also there are the jokes about her not knowing basic things like the difference between a gun and then sun 👀 I also have a crazy theory that little tuck and Tina are robots as well and that’s why they don’t like Timmy but I have nothing really to back that one yet 😂 I’m thinking something along the lines of those 3 died and the inventor made robots in their place idk?

What an incredible first episode! I haven't laughed that hard in ages. It felt like all five of you were firing on all cylinders. There was amazing chemistry between the characters and it felt like you were all bought in to the setting. I bet the editing was great too because it felt so snappy and seamless, but there was still plenty of room for the jokes and riffing to breathe. Sometimes when people transition from DM to player, there's a bit of friction and awkwardness as a listener. But Anthony just slotted right into it and was fucking hilarious. The setting feels like it has a lot of potential and I'm already drawn into the story. Well done!
