Update plans + October 14th to 22nd Break (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update to give news on my update plans for my current stories, plus a break announcement in October.

As Commerce Hero patrons have noticed I haven't been able to update Commerce Emperor for a few weeks. The reason is that I've been swamped by the Blood & Fur launch, Gunsoul and news on the Perfect Run front (nothing signed yet but we're in discussion with a publisher to help fund the game's development, plus working on a webtoon adaptation). I've been advancing on the next chapter (the long-planned Monk interlude) but at a snail's pace.

I very much intend to conclude this story but it's clear I'll need to conclude some projects first before I find the time to do so. It's a bit frustrating since I would say we're seven or so chapters from the trilogy's conclusion.

As we're approaching the end of the Gunsoul volume, which I expect to conclude around October by my estimations (maybe; I always have a hard time with those estimations, but it's been my fastest-paced story yet and I'm optimistic about this prevision), my current plan is to do a Commerce Emperor marathon to conclude the trilogy right after. All I can say is that I promise you that the story will be completed by the year's end.

In hindsight, it was a bit premature to publish Gunsoul on RR before I completed Commerce Emperor first; it's probably why I'll wait until both are finished before publishing Dungeon Wreckers there.

Otherwise, I'll be taking a break from October 14th to the 22nd. The reason is that I leave for the USA on Saturday 12th until October 20nd for an author retreat, after which I can look forward to a very long flight. That and I feel I need some time to breath; I kept working during the gamescom and dragoncon back to back last month, and honestly I'm looking forward to taking a few days to slow down, get the juices back.

Once Gunsoul and Commerce Emperor are done, I'll likely put up a poll for future stories; I'm leaning towards returning to comedy LitRPG in the vein of Vainqueur after my current dark fantasy phase (maybe with a long-considered Board & Conquest novel), so I've got a few ideas to throw your way.
