Patreon Update: Break next week, Commerce Emperor Back, Perfect Run etc... (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update and general news on this week's updates and news now that Gunsoul is done.

• This week's updates: Commerce Emperor back, Gunsoul PDF ASAP, new story poll after break

 As I've warned earlier , I'll be on a break starting from the 12th of October (after posting B&F's newest chapter) to the 22nd, as I'll be moving to an author retreat to the USA and then making a stop elsewhere. I'll likely publish the Blood & Fur chapter a bit earlier since I'm taking the transatlantic plane in the morning.

Otherwise, the newest Commerce Emperor chapter is finished and will be published tomorrow, and since the one after that one is half-done, I hope to do a double post week by posting it on Thursday if I can. I'm also working on the Gunsoul compiled PDF, so that one will be updated as soon as I can.

I would say we're close to the midway point when it comes to the third volume of Commerce Emperor, so I have high hopes to finish this story around November after a writing sprint on it. Once this is done, I intend to start a new story to work on alongside Dungeon Wreckers (which, like Gunsoul, should be a shorter work) and Blood & Fur (of which we're roughly three fifths in).

After some consideration, I've decided to post the poll and pilot after the break instead of beforehand; one of the concepts is finalized (a Board & Conquest-centered story) but the other choices I'm thinking of need some more work to stand out. I think the break will help me formalize them more while working on building up the B&F/CE backlog.

Fair warning, I'm more in the mood to do some lighthearted/comedy story after all my more recent darker works, so I think more serious works like Stars of Sirius will likely be offered in a future poll rather than the next one.  

• Perfect Run Demo & Webtoon

Otherwise, we've been doing some progress on the Perfect Run game since the demo's launch last month. Most remarks centered around the combat system, so we're currently focusing on refining it to make it snappier, quicker, and more combo-heavy alongside other quality of life features. I hope to be able to send you videos soon once we've worked out the kinks. We're also working on expanding the demo level with additional areas and Key & Mouse support so everyone will be able to play the new and expanded demo.

We've also started on modelizing two very special characters, whose final concept arts you can find below.

Yep, ol' ghost Ghoul and the Plushie are next on the character menu ;) we've also been making early forays into adapting the intro scene of The Perfect Run (the Renesco bar attack) that will launch the game's story, but I'll keep you informed on that one.

Additionally, we've entered early production tests for a Perfect Run webtoon, whose first WIP pictures you can see below.

These are early tests so in no way attest to the final product, but I'm optimistic about the process so far. I'll keep you updated once that deal goes through and we have an episode to present ;)
