When younger, at certain moments was dealing with extreme fever, I used to hear strange "dream music" when the illness was having its way with me. A few years ago, I tried to capture that feeling while messing around with paint.

Right after this, I made a few surreal sketches, incorporating a "melody of colours" into the bodies of creatures. Here is one.

I then tried to go completely abstract, and tried to illustrate a certain melody without any hints of figures in my art.

Obviously, none of these works are my best, but I just wanted to share them with you. Did you also ever hear music when ill - and/or tried to capture music in art?

All the best, and thanks for supporting me on Patreon, and beyond!

The works are fantastic, but, as for music, no. Sometimes, when I'm sick, I can hear people talking in the distance, even when I know there's nobody there. However! I did have to teach myself how to 'hear' words in my head, or 'hear' thoughts, as every thing I 'thought' was sounds and images or objects, usually abstract, rather than word thoughts.

I love it. I don't think sickness ever did too much for me in terms of music, but when exhausted or sleep deprived I woul sometimes have music playing in my head, at some intervals randomly slowing down.
