Mundane

After writing a time loop story for so long do you get anything new out of watching a movie like Groundhog day? Like I remember the time as an adult I re-watched it and really thought about how crazy I would go experiencing the same thing for subjective years. Not to mention in Groundhog day, and many other time loop movies, there is not some big "you need to save the world" motivation to keep characters going. As always thanks for sharing this amazing story with us <3

It's been a long time since I've seen the movie, but it's definitely an influence on this story, especially in how a loop might affect a person stuck in it. That said, I've always been more interested in epic fantasy and all the save-the-world stuff that comes with it, so I'm also drawing from stuff like "Window of Opportunity, " which is one of my favorite Stargate SG-1 episodes, and "Edge of Tomorrow." As I'm writing, I make sure I'm including the same kinds of satisfying and cool moments that made me enjoy those so much. And thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it :)
