god, these fucking conspirators are so well written in how they love the smell of their own ass and genuinely couldn’t convince themselves not to be egotistic selfish assholes. Kill them all Mirian.

It sounds wrong but killing a bunch of people always made the most sense to me. You kill them and then identify who rises to replace them. Then the next cycle you just focus on manipulating the replacement. Ideally the replacement will not have time to have consolidated power before Dvir falls and would still be reliant on the Prophet to maintain control.

So I’m guessing Mirian is going to bind a bunch of heart valves or something considering we know she’s been think of using relicarum for sabotage

I like how we could see the exact moment Corrmier realized he fucked up forever

But then the replacement won't be nearly as good at doing their job as their predecessor. Like it might work for a few people, but Mirian can't be micromanaging 100+ replacements that rely on her influence to remain in power. I honestly don't think it sounds that much more efficient than just defanging the current people in power's plots.

The only thing more dangerous than an out-of-control Mirian is an in-control Mirian.

Yeah I wish we got the actual dialogue for those. It would have been interesting to see how everything was divided up in terms of responsibility. They could have areas of control or have areas of expertise. I feel like Gabriel could have gotten the general on side.

And this is how the shady archmage circle agreed to disagree on politics politely…
