This is a draft of one of Pierrot’s early monologues. I wrote and rewrote his lines several times before reaching that final version.
We can take it slow, my lady/lord/dear...
There's no rush. I would wait a thousand nights just to see that shy sparkle in your eyes once more.
Every step you take toward me is what keeps my heart beating.
Would you join me in this gentle dance?
I'll lead with care… like a true gentleman.
But look at what you're doing to me...
The more you smile, the harder it becomes to keep my composure.
This love you're feeding inside me…
Don't you see?
It's growing, twisting, taking shapes that might frighten you if I revealed them now.
But that's all right. I’ll hide it. For you.
For now.
Because, ah... my sweet flower, my lovely prey...
I want to devour you.
Your skin calls to me like a forbidden scent,
And I'm not that strong.
I’ll corrupt every corner of your soul with my name,
Until your body trembles just at the sound of my voice.
Until your sighs belong to me alone.
And when you finally realize there’s nowhere left to run...
I'll be there. For you ~
Even after I destroy everything you are with my own hands...
You'll love it.
And you'll love me even more, won’t you?
