Small Life Update & How This'll Impact Build 3 (Patreon)

Hi, everyone. It's Bowser.

There's been a recent shake-up in my personal life and I just want to fill everyone in on what's happening. A beloved coworker of mine passed away suddenly yesterday. He was someone who I talked with almost every weekday. We worked closely together on a lot of projects over the past couple years. He was a good friend and a great mentor. I'll be missing him dearly.

For those who don't know, I work for a very small company for my day job. We only have four employees now. This leaves a big void in our workflow and I have to take on a lot of his responsibilities for the time being.

All-in-all, this will not cause ChoPro to go on hiatus. Build 3 is in production and our team is still working on various projects. Everything is in motion and I don't want to stop our momentum. That said, things may slow down.

My goal was to get a review copy ready by the end of May and to have Build 3 publicly released by June. Now, I'm not certain if we can hit those goals.

I want to be transparent with you all since ChoPro would not be what it is without your support. As always, any and all support you give to ChoPro is beyond appreciated. If this news causes you to withdraw your support for a few weeks, I completely understand.

Unlike other VN developers, I'm not able to guarantee monthly builds. So, if you'd rather take your money and support other devs in the meantime, I'm more than understanding.
