It's called taking accountability, number one realising if someone says use Google to answer your question in nanoseconds, they have given you amazing advice. Further to that, when the same person also tells you not to worry about time of release and that it will come once its finished, they gave you more context. Finally, when all this is logically set out to you, and they tell you this does not meet the definition of 'nasty', its your time to apologise. You do know when you are wrong in a situation right?
