hi!!!

so, a lot of u have probably noticed that polls and sketches are like, WAY behind - for which there are a few reasons

chief amongst them all being that i moved out of home for the first time back in april, and it genuinely took me a good couple of months to adjust to the huge change to my life, but just as chiefly, i also found it difficult to just, get myself to work on stuff that didn't have a deadline lighting a fire under my ass - which is a demon i've been wrestling with literally my whole fucking life LOL

turns out, after talking to my therapist about this, and many of my friends, it's incredibly likely that i have ADHD that has just gone undiagnosed - and by extension, untreated - for 29 years

but finally!! i have an appointment with a therapist who specialises in adult adhd and asd (which i already have lmfaoooo) to get assessed, and the money put aside to have the assessment done!! by october, i'll hopefully be seeing said therapist, and if no diagnosis comes out, i'm very hopeful that at the very least i'll be able to work out with him some kind of strategy or medication plan to treat my executive dysfunction, because the usual advice of "just buy a diary and set alarms 4head" does not work sjlhgds

all this to say, i'm really sorry i've fallen behind on my polls and sketches. i'm making a conscious effort to start really moving through everything and hold myself to task, but at the very least towards the end of the year i will, very hopefully, finally have the resources on hand to keep myself on task enough to stick to a fucking schedule lmfao
