A few weeks ago I finally watched it. The "I Lied to You" and "Rocky Road to Dublin" scenes had me dropping my jaw. Due to credit to Coogler for showcasing the rural natural beauty of the filming locations. Cinematography was on point.

Sinners was a phenomenal film that showcased how music, particularly music created by black people, can transcend time and bring people together to cultivate community. Unfortunately, the antagonists of the film showed how it can be coveted and weaponized by people outside of our culture who are operating by their own agenda and have darker or more sinister ulterior motives, but…it’s also a film that features some of the most attractive people I’ve seen on screen. I, too, would succumb to the vampirism and witchcraft of it all! I’m a simple queer at the end of the day. 👉🏾👈🏾
