Yay! I love this movie so much, the reveal is so good and it's wild that it was made on a low 300k budget, Happy that you enjoyed it! Also it's rad that both movies in your double feature were written & directed by women. So is the French Canadian horror rom-com Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person (2023) and I think you'd like that one as well.

I watch JayMeetsWorld and I swear she's mentioned that movie. I've never seen it, but trust Jay and it would be a fun first watch with Alanda!

Respect your decision to not see Scream 7. Not going to lie and I just want to speak my truth since this is a tight-knit community, also upset I can't see it with you. I don't like with what happened behind the scenes. What Spyglass did was so weird and I am in a way glad they shot themselves in the foot by losing a part of their fanbase. I still love the cast and crew, the entire franchise and watched/enjoyed the movie. You could call that me having no backbone, but I also donated a lot of money to the cause and I do believe most of the cast and crew are not appreciative of the decision they made. I'm obviously not a perfect person, but I just wish we wouldn't come after people who do root for the same team overall, who have a slightly different opinion or don't check all the boxes of one's morals.

Just wanted to say if you've seen my comments, I'm not judging people for what they do with their time; it's only the people that specifically came to attack Alanda for not reacting therefore not respecting her freedom to choose whether to react or not. I'm definitely not thinking all of the reactors I watch aren't seeing Scream 7 at all, whether going to see it privately/downloading it or whatever. From her positions in the past it's definitely worse to react/make money off of something she believes is wrong. That's why her and so many other reactors (Nick, David, Jay) have stated they won't be publicly posting reactions to Scream 7. It's a much bigger deal when you have a platform of thousands, you know? I just don't want you to think this whole community is judging you. I would only think you were being rude if you came in and stated that Alanda/the other commenters are Anti-Semitic and just attacking, but from your comment it's obvious you've read other comments and aren't judging anybody and I respect that a lot. As a person who was raised Orthodox Jewish and has a daughter with Lebanese grandparents and lots of family who still live there hopefully you can see why it infuriates me when people boil Alanda's decision down to her being Anti-Semitic.

No need to watch and react to Scream 7 if you don’t want to Alanda, That is your prerogative. I will also not be watching Scream 7 because I feel like the franchise has become too repetitive. Melissa Barerra is one of my favorite actors; and not just because of her hair and body and face. I love how game she is as a performer. She's like "oh, you want me to hop around all puppy-like for a no-good ex who doesn't deserve me, want me to roll around on the floor sobbing with a mouthful of cake, want me to go dead-eyed with sadness and fatigue, want me to do pretty much anything at all and pull it off with aplomb? I gotchu." Just delightful, which is honestly how I'd describe this film in general. Loved the acting, loved the story, and loved the romance, and LOVED the ending. And, to think if it weren't for you posting this, I wouldn't have known about this film at all. Thank you for that <3

Melissa was sooooo good in this movie, it made me LOVE her as an actress. i wish I could've enjoyed the monster more but ngl his character design wasn't attractive, he just looked stinky and i can't root for stinky men 😔
