Queen Alanda, the greatest honor I've had in my little Southern gay life is my 2025 review saying I was in the top percent of your viewing. You are my therapy. My unofficial hoodoo rootworking Queen. I can't wait to finish this menace Chucky with you, and to see you cackle at the bastard Leprechaun franchise (petty ass GREMLIN). We all love you. You created a community! JOY!

"Duke lost a tenured professor." - You gagged me with that one!! Revisiting this show has been insane. I remembered this tension immediately going into the finale.

Just got back from seeing THE BRIDE! Ya'll. It's my husband and I's favorite movie of the year (so far). Weird and wonderful and a gorgeous love letter to cinema, its ability to transport us and save us. I was grinning from ear to ear from beginning to end at everything on screen. Jessie Buckley put in a HELLUVA performance. At times the work she was doing reminded me of Sheryl Lee's Oscar-worthy turn in TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME, in that both actresses were tasked with slipping in and out of, seamlessly, various personas and contradictory facets of their personality in one take. Both women made it look effortless. And then Christian Bale, whose Frankie I now have a huge, gushing crush for, turned in my husband and I's favorite interpretation of Frankenstein's Monster. Of all-time. I am now convinced between Buckley and Bale being vocally pro-Palestine, and the film's timely feminist bent attacking powerful, untouchable men who hurt and SA women (nothing graphic occurs on screen in the film) and get away with it, that there absolutely IS a campaign against this film to see it bomb. The Epstein Class and Zionists who both murder and rape children and try to bury people when they notice, are one and the same after all. They DEFINITELY are at least lending a portion of the negativity directed at this film online right now. The other day I saw some trash headline from a website I never heard of that audiences were walking out of theaters, mid-film, in anger. I did not believe it then and SURE AS SHIT DO NOT BELIEVE IT NOW. Even if the movie isn't your thing, there is nothing in it that would make anyone hate it THAT much that they would throw away whatever fortune they spent on tickets and concessions and leave before it is over. Maybe you'll hate it. Maybe you'll love it. Maybe you'll just like it. Whichever, it DOES NOT deserve to be bombing at the box office right now to the degree it is (a $9 million take over the weekend from a $90 million budget, not including another likely $90 million in promotional costs, is heartbreaking). This movie, a delicious monster mash of FRANKENSTEIN, THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN, BONNIE AND CLYDE, SID AND NANCY, WILD AT HEART, art house cinema with numerous old timey 1920's musicals stirred into the mix, was MADE for outsiders. My husband and I were those outsiders, and we loved every single second of the experience. Destined for cult classic status for the rest of our days. See it now in IMAX, which is what it specifically shot for, now while you still can. Unless you are Alanda, in which case I hope that you view it on your channel for / with us some day this or next year! *fingers crossed*
