More hints of Avalon's background. This is the first chance I get to introduce the fact that Adamus doesn't know him as "Avalon", but I'm not sure if I'll take it. I may have Roshim refer to "Avalon", and make Adamus raise his eyebrows, but we'll see if I can cram that much in here

It will become clear by the end of the chapter that "Avalon" is not the true name of this fellow, but is, in fact, a place! That will serve to recontextualize the title
