I like that the temple is underwhelming, in comparison to the lead up. They've been journeying for hundreds or even thousands of miles to meet with this transcendent being, some ancient godkin, but his temple is not some grand immaculate reflection of heaven. Some of the mountain has even collapsed away and taken a portion of the walls with it. A testament to their unwillingness to change, seeing themselves as already perfect and paying no mind to the world breathing around them.

I'm loving the design of the temple. The two circular forms, large and small, make for a very calming aesthetic. Also: as a biologist, I have to say that your rendering of the lily is GODDAM PERFECT.

I kinda like that Roshim is defaulting to being concerned for Avalon. I guess getting jumpscared by the Lord of Gold in his dreams probably has Roshim reassessing a few things
