It's not a "mess", it's "lived in", Ricky might protest!

I lived in a pretty clean house, but I had some friends in my high school era whose houses weren't so clean. In fact on the spectrum of houses, I got to know the difference between a house that was just disorganized and cluttered versus one that signified deeper problems.

That definitely stuck with me, and I'm carrying some of that rural Iowan energy into this comic. Ricky's trailer is just a little cluttered.

This was a very fun page to do, and also because Laurie has a very expressive face!
