MHA Chapter 58: Cold Embrace (Patreon)

I started speedwalking to the street Shivers whispered to me where the trouble was to occur, not drawing attention to myself despite using my quirk thanks to Nothing's Wrong Here.

Deciding to be more accurate I also turned on Byakugan, running Byakugan, Phase Shift, Scary Monsters and Instant Transmission in my ability list. Peering through the walls I started scanning around just in time to see a car get thrown through the air with a man laughing maniacally behind it.

If I had to guess, my target was the maniacally laughing man.

Not wanting to have to sprint through two streets I focused on a location behind a large totalled car that created an appropriate amount of cover before using Instant Transmission to teleport behind it. Immediately the moment I was there I started hearing the inane ramblings of the man who threw the car.

"OVERTIME THIS! FIX THIS! FIX THAT! STOP TAKING SO MANY BATHROOM BREAKS!? I HAVE A WEAK BLADDER!!! I AM GOING TO KILL YOU YOU FUCKING BALDING BASTARD! I AM NO LONGER BASARA, I AM IRON MAN!!!"

...I am guessing by the name he is calling himself and the cars that are floating around that he has some kind of Iron Manipulation quirk. I took a closer look at the man. He was flying using a car as a foothold, I could see several injured civilians around and a severely injured hero dressed like a native american, one hero dressed vaguely like a fish was trying to blast him with water to no avail, only being met with a car hurled toward him that would definitely splatter him.

Good thing I was here I suppose, shifting to Offensive Form and Hybridizing with Scary Monsters I moved to intercept the car, I would use Instant Transmission but it costs too much Energy to be used willy-nilly and it needed focus to use, it simply super speed was simply more reliable.

Bam!

"You good? Mind if I engage?" I asked the hero after kicking the large car away from him, completely crushing it. The man looked at me in surprise.

"You're the kid from the Sports Festival." Scheiße, was there anyone who didn't know me from that thing? "Normally I'd say leave it to the Proes but some assistance would be appreciated now, my quirk isn't good for situations like this. You have my permission." The man nodded firmly and I gave a stoic nod back.

With that, legal problems were out of the way, Nezu would be proud. I turned back to the iron-wielding man who sent an entire truck toward me with a furious expression.

"DON'T TRY TO STOP ME FROM KILLING THAT BALDING BLOATED SLAVE DRIVING BASTARD!!! HOW DARE YOU CUT MY BONUS FOR PISSING SO MUCH!?!? I HAVE A WEAK BLADDER OF COURSE I HAVE TO GO TO THE TOILETT!!!!!!!"

Whoa, this guy was tweaking.

Maybe literally considering what Shivers was saying about Syringes and stuff. I think his boss already ran away too but he didn't notice.

Still, a truck toward a man who couldn't resist was about several magnitudes too far even if his boss were an asshole. He should have taken an example from me and fucked his wife and daughter as revenge instead of becoming a terrorist.

I grabbed the still-unnamed hero and dashed away from where the truck was hurled toward us, after leaving the hero next to wall, I considered my approach, approaching a flying enemy by jumping was not a good idea in the best of days. Gravity Jail? His Iron manipulation is probably stronger than it considering the amount of cars and street signs he is holding with his power at once.

Ooh, I got it.

I clasped my hands around my mouth and shouted.

"Hey! Weak bladder metal man! Look over here!"

The man turned to me with a furious expression, all the cars floating around were also aimed toward me.

"YOU DARE CALL MY BLADDER WEAK!?!?!? I'LL CRUSH YOU FLAT YOU BRAT!!!" Weren't you the one who kept emphasizing the weakness of your bladder?

Just before he sent cars flying towards me and did more property damage I put my fingers on my forehead and used Instant Transmission to teleport behind him.

"WHAT!?!?!?"

"Night night."

Whack!

I landed a solid kick, whacking him over the head and sending him to dreamland in severe concussion world. He is gonna wake up with a nasty headache but hopefully no permanent brain injuries, or if he did I would just blame it on the drugs he took. I was a Yakuza and even I didn't take drugs.

But now, with the man knocked out the was a slight problem, all of the cars he was holding up with his quirk were now falling, although most of the civilians were out of the way, I found one that wasn't, a civilian was clutching her ankle while a truck that was sent flying horizontally at full speed after being launched by the Iron Monger was coming right towards her and she would definitely not be able to react in time due to the cloud of dust that was kicked up.

I pulled on my strength and speed, dashing down from the still-flying platform made of cars and downwards toward the woman, no pretty woman would be hurt on my watch. Unless they were evil of course.

"Huh?"

My body crashed in front of her, my legs digging into the concrete, I couldn't move her out of the way at this speed due to the fact that I would be touching her at Mach 1+ which would probably gore her.

Bam!

I switched to Defensive Form just in time to wrap my arms around her and hold her in front of me while my back faced the front of the bus, I felt an intense pain like being hit by one of Shoto's icebergs as I dug my feet in, struggling to stop the car as my feet mowed through the concrete like rake through a sand. It took a solid few seconds for the truck to come to a stop as the Iron Menace must have sent it flying at insane speeds. What the fuck was that drug?

Swallowing the blood in my mouth from my most likely bruised ribs I looked down at the woman in my arms and tried to give a reassuring smile.

"Cough! Are you okay miss?"

The woman looked up in shock, because yeah, she probably was in shock, still, the moment that she took to answer me I got a good look at her and realized-

-Oh shit, that's Shoto's sister.

The woman in my arms had a rather nice body and her eyes were grey which was exactly like one-half of Shoto, her hair was mostly snow white with a few exceptions of several streaks of red across her hair. Regaining her bearings she quickly panicked.

"O-oh! Yes, I am fine but are you okay!? Thank you very much for saving me but that looked like it really hurt."

I gave a slight smirk to reassure her, this wasn't even top 50 of the injuries I got in the last month.

"Trust me, lady, this is light work. Not even a scratch. Are you okay? I may be built to take punishment but you aren't." I gave her body a quick scan with Byakugan and saw her ankle was pretty bruised.

"I think my ankle had it bad but nothing else, since you protected me. Thank you very much but are you sure you are going to be fine?"

She put a finger over her ankle and winced a little before turning her head to me and showing adamant concern while I shook my head.

"Thanks for your worry miss, but I really am fine, if anything your smile healed most of my injuries." She blushed a little, being more conscious of the fact that she was still in my arms, though a little confusion was mixed into her expression before her eyes lit up with recognition.

"Okay...? Wait, aren't you that boy from the UA Sports Festival?" Maybe I should change my name to Sportsman or something after this with how much I am recognized by that moniker. "Shoto talked about you before. A-ahem could you please put me down now? I think I can walk"

She coughed into her fist to hide her expression while I obliged, setting her down but she still winced as she tried to put weight onto her busted foot, I quickly picked her back up in response while she blushed in embarrassment.

"U-uh, I'm sorry I don't think I can walk actually. If it's not too much trouble could you please help me get home? Oh! I know, I'd also like to thank you for helping me, I was preparing to cook for Shoto maybe you could join us? I'm sure Shoto would also appreciate having you around."

Urgh! Her expression is so bright, I am taking physical damage. She is such a nice person that I am feeling bad in her presence. But schooling myself with my Acting Mastery I gave her a charming smile.

"Carrying a pretty lady in my arms? Can't say I'd refuse, I am pretty hungry anyway. I didn't know Todoroki had such a beautiful sister. Thanks for the offer, Miss...?"

The lady in my arms blushed and lightly reprimanded me, like a teacher scolding her student.

"G-geez, you shouldn't say those things you know Hakari-kun? You are my brother's age. But thanks. I am Fuyuki Todorok. I am so glad to have met a friend of Shoto's, such a nice boy too."

Considering I was literally his only friend(?) she got pretty lucky. I guess he is sorta maybe friends with Izuku after I introduced both to each other but he only really spoke long sentences to me. He really warmed up to me(hehe) after I beat him up thanks to rivalry.

"Alright, Todoroki-san. Just let me take care of something first." I shifted her over to one hand and held her closer to me to keep her balance while gripping her thigh, making her blush even harder while I pulled out my phone on the other hand and texted Toga and Nezu.

I told Toga to keep my food warm for when I got back as I was harem chasing(I could eat two meals in a row easily, my metabolism was insane) and I texted Nezu to ask if I would have any problems with the police after taking care of the villains which he said he would take care of it.

I changed my grip on Fuyuki again, having her on a princess carry, flustering her even more knowingly. I would have preferred a piggyback for obvious reasons but that would be annoying to get into due to position logistics.

"Alright Todoroki-san, lead the way." Man, I have become so good at pretending to be a good boy.

"A-ah yes, I spaced out for a second."

The walk to the Todoroki Mansion was pretty short and the large traditional Japanese mansion was pretty easy to spot. As we approached the entrance I addressed Fuyuki in my arms who was still uneasy and wincing from her ankle while switching out Phase Shift with Heal Share.

"Hey, Todoroki-san, would you mind if I healed you before we went in? I wouldn't want to face an angry Endeavor if he sees you injured, or an angry... Todoroki?" How do I address them if both siblings are in the same room?

She nodded and I applied Life Share, watching her wound visibly fade while I felt my body get ever so slightly colder and the taste of blood in my mouth, not by too much considering it was only an ankle twist obviously. I was overly healthy, though I guess not so much considering I got hit by a 800-mph bus just 3 minutes ago. Thankfully I was sturdy to a fault.

"You don't have to worry about Endeavor, he isn't here, he rarely is- Wait, if you could have done that why didn't you before?" She looked at me with a surprised expression while I shrugged my shoulders.

"Can you blame me for wanting to hold a pretty woman in my arms for longer?" She puffed up her cheeks and looked both embarrassed and slightly angry, ready to scold me for delinquent behaviour before I gave a made-up difficult expression trying to appease her. "Sorry, sorry, although that's not a lie it's because of how my quirk works. I healed you using Life Share, which takes my vitality and gives it to you to heal you, so carrying you using it would have been a bit... difficult."

She looked at me with a shocked expression looking angry in my stead, pounding on my chest with weak fists.

"Mou! Why did you do that Hakari-kun!? Don't just hurt yourself to heal me! That's bad, I can take care of myself."

I shrugged my shoulders and made an apologetic expression, she was really treating me like a kid.

"Sorry not sorry, seeing a pretty lady in pain hurts me more than Life Share ever could."

She was stunned into silence, so many conflicting thoughts before she puffed up her cheeks while blushing in indignation and embarrassment.

"You-! Mou~! I told you not to tease me Hakari-kun! It's not appropriate. Now could you please put me down so we can go in and treat your wounds?"

I chuckled and complied with her request setting her down while smirking, although she tried to hide it I could feel her increasing heart rate.

Shoto's sister was pretty damn cute.

A/N: The fearsome Iron Man makes an appearance and promptly leaves. Hakari's build is really becoming absolutely insane, he is already one of the fastest and physically strongest heroes. Instant Transmission is also really pulling its weight.

Shoto's sister makes an appearance because, despite having an ice quirk he body is smoking hot. Besides, Fuyumi and Rei are the only two real options I have for Oyakodon in MHA and I'm taking it. That asides, what do you guys think about Fuyuki? Do you like her?
