Yeah this is a good demonstration on Anime Canon vs Filler. They do have decent quality / care and most importantly they _do happen_ in the context of the story (unlike filler). It also helps contextualize a lot of things like the characters that materialize out of nowhere, though in the beginning it can feel like a slog while they get you up to speed on everything so I get the notion to skip things. Super glad we went back to this one at least, it's a super fun one.

Some of the anime canon is real canon. Its connected to the story where Momoshiki invaded the Konoha, Which urashiki got away. This is the connected story where he is.

i do think most of the boruto filler is trash and i did stop watching them around episode 70, but these fillers even with some of my gripes were actually a really nice watch. one of the only ones worth watching though imo but glad you checking it out
