yea made in abyss is truly unlike anything else, it's very hard to recommend, but i'm soooooooooooooo glad you decided to watch it, can't wait for the movie as well, i won't spoil anything, but i read the manga, and we are in for a crazy adventure going forward and the hype is unreal, truly. thank you Nick, much love! ps: since you said you'll be watching yt videos on it, i personally recommend darkvioletcloud on yt, the videos there go insanely deep on theories and themes, very enjoyable content!

After the first season, they released a limited edition perfume advertised as "smelling like Nanachi". After this season, they released a limited edition perfume advertised as "you can smell like Faputa's Ass"

It's a shame they cut most of the scenes between Vueko and Pakkoyan (the cyclops/blue hair girl next to Vueko in flashbacks), showing that they were a lesbian couple, hence the emotional sacrifice at the end. They also cut the Vueko x Pakkoyan sex scene (and the Reg x Faputa one, but at least we got to see her shove her head down his pants)
