Until we get Kendo to level 80 and finish one more storyline, after which Kendo will be able to reclaim his mantle as The King of Summer.

But for now, Satoshi gets a good ending, after all his struggles.

Before anyone points any fingers my way screaming something like "he's betrayed the NTR ways!" just listen for a second. From the beginning I wanted Satoshi to get with Shizuka. That's where his story was always leading to. And for this game, I thought it'd be best to have at least one possible good ending for Satoshi, brought about by his own choices and actions. He's a very passive character for most of the game, after all. So him taking the initiative at the very end felt adequate.

The structure of this update is like that of a mini Satoshi Route. Which is something I've decided not to do anymore, as it would take precious development time and wouldn't be of the interest of many. He'll still get a short ending with Mary, but otherwise there won't be much to explore there. Just like with Kendo Ending 1, there's a single choice at the end that determines the very final outcome of the ending. Right now I only have one of those choices implemented, with the 2nd outcome to come out next week.

I've noticed for a few months how whenever there's a switch between Kendo centric updates and Arato's, some people come out to leave comments very reminiscent of sports team rivalries. And while it's nice to have your preference, please take into consideration that it is NOT my intention in any way to personally slight you whenever I decide to make updates featuring a character you don't like.
