The King of Summer - v 0.6.4-early now out for Dandy Patrons! (And above) (Patreon)

The festival event begins in earnest! Mary, Natsuki and Rin get the spotlight as they attend a celebration happening at a town near the resort!

Mary goes with Satoshi hoping to create one final 'innocent' memory, Natsuki intends to make up certain past experiences to her husband, and Rin... Rin wants a reward.

But their commitment to their individual goals might be put in jeopardy by Kendo's presence, as usual~ Expect an event filled with NTR hijinks just out of sight.

It took me a while to release this once more, but I guess 10 days is better than 15 like last time. I had a little loss in the family, but those things happen, and I'm back on the horse, as they say.

From the visual standpoint, I'd say everything was relatively painless to make. The Rin and Erina scene was a last minute addition, as I felt the update needed a certain something to justify Rin's actions and, well, to add more 'real content' to the update. As far as Mary and Natsuki goes, the struggle was in the writing. I wanted them to have a good justification for attending this event, as well as a proper challenge to overcome. I also wanted these reasons to tie-in with Satoshi's and Yoshi's motivation. Yoshi's motivation in particular was a bit of a revelation: for a moment, I thought of just having him tag around. But now it seems like his actions here will carry more weight, as he has his own reasons for wanting to be at this double date with Mary and Satoshi.

Once more, it turned into a long update, hopefully worth your time. The full update will include a couple of scenes related to the festival proper. It'll be a bit different from the camping trip, but I'll carry over the same idea of a variety of scenes with some choices sprinkled in to create different outcomes. These scenes will be on the shorter side, at least for the full update.

I'd say look forward to next week... but Halloween is approaching.

It's about time I finished Isle of Fall.
