Man the brood gave one good performance for the camera. Although they probably only did it because they want Christine to cooperate. Her experience is most likely unique because the brood is rewarding her for her help by giving her the full sensation of carrying them and not diluting anything as an incentive to get her to cooperate

Also, this could just be my imagination. But the growth spurt they caused mostly ended up as fat with some belly growth. Seems like if christine forces a growth spurt, while they are not ready or cannot process the calories, her body with the help of the aliens store those calories as fat on her sides and butt
