Some Fun For You (Patreon)

This has been a bad week and the coming week isn't looking too great, either. Sarah was sick, then I got sick, and I've started therapy so a lot of garbage is falling out of my head while I'm dealing with some severe depression, and the car is still not safe to drive but I have important errands I have to run and the mass transit out here sucks and I'm late on my end of a script and it's holding up everyone and I'm stressed out/intimidated by the project which keeps me awake all night and the cat tore my hand up last night because she's a stinker and my drawing hand is a mess from drawing and my back and neck spasms are out of control and I have to keep pushing back a meeting which is causing me anxiety and I feel extra-down because Beasts of Burden sales have tumbled because of the nine-year gap between releasing collections and that was my only profitable project but we put out good stuff this past year and more of it and and I definitely feel like I've dropped off the radar in comics with readers, comics websites and publishers (some of whom I'm okay with not dealing with, but, still, the phone used to ring) and am exhausted from hustling and selling and worrying and feeling old and useless and of course there's stuff I can't even talk about and on Saturday I fly out to Columbus for Tom Spurgeon's memorial and that's already killing me and I can't find the missing button to my 20-yr old coat and I only have the one suit which is so old I had it when I first met Tom fer chrissakes and oh, well, what the hell, I guess I'll get to see what crying in Ohio is like this weekend, I'd say having old clothes is the least of my worries. 

Anyway, here's two Fun Strips from the recent Heavy Metal humor special, Soft Wood. I worry I don't post enough here. And I want to post new stuff, but these days it's harder to do that with NDA's and comic book PR cycles.
