Six-Page Josie Story (Dan DeCarlo Original Art) (Patreon)

Hey, gang, here's a hopefully fun post while I'm still having trouble taking care of things around here. 

Sometime in the 90's Sarah and I picked up a small batch of DeCarlo pages from Josie and Betty and Veronica, back when there were thousands of Archie Comics pages floating around and everything was (generally) affordable. This was the only full story we managed to get. It's pre-Pussycats, so you get Pepper, who was phased out and basically replaced by Valerie. Nothing against Val, but Pepper was pretty cool.

Sarah and I almost got to write an Archie story bringing back Pepper, but it (obviously) didn't happen. I was also semi-scouted by someone with some clout at Archie once to do some work for them. That also went nowhere. Finally, an editor ghosted me at Archie after contacting me about writing stuff for them. In a non-comics situation, Sarah once went to the headquarters when she was working for a clothing company to discuss licensing Betty and Veronica. She got to see their file copies and some other interesting stuff. And that's our (non) history at Archie Comics. 

Okay, hand's hurting, I only meant to post the comic and run. Blabbermouth/fingers.
