Huh; not sure if it's just the colouring, but everything she's affecting looks like it's metal. A (currently) uncontrolled version of Magneto's powers, moving stuff randomly and accidentally tearing them apart?

You are right, but Annie hadn't figured out yet that it's only tearing apart one kind of material. I suspect she's only done it 2-3 times at most, in only a few seconds, and it's too chaotic for her to start thinking it through.
