First page of chapter 28 "Divergence".  We should get back to the present in this chapter.  

The point of this is to show the first person he had to capture, to show what happened that altered the future, and remind the reader about some of the times I've hinted at differences between what Thomas expected, and what really happened.

I was going to have him capture Warp, the girl instead.  But I thought Proton here could look the most interesting going out of control.
