this is the order the story was in the magna, the fair and the crane battle were anime original but the franky and nightfall chapter was right before these two.

I figured, I think they should have switched it for the anime. It’s not hugely important or anything, but this episode would have been a much better season opener.

Maybe I'm misremembering something in the first episode, but I'm pretty sure it was pretty continuity neutral, they could have put it anywhere, they did that with episodes in season 1, why not here?
