Is Male alternates more male character or male characters turned into futas?

Late to the post, but curious if with the male alternatives we could make it so (For encounters at least) we have a random chance to get both? Not expecting to be as separate as the Goblin Male/Female branches, but even if text is largely the same the different art keeps things a little different.
