A lot of surprises and twists, as well as our first meeting of Smaug (who I BLOOMIN' LOVE)!

Really enjoyed the reaction:) As far as I know Bilbo can understand the spiders when he's wearing the ring because they are "creatures of darkness" and not because they speak Black Speech. But I'm definitely no expert on this so if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me in the comments everyone!

Great reaction as always Veggie! No need to look up the actors! I highly recommend watching the first 4 minutes of credits in The Five Armies, there is some cool art along with the actor names accompanied by a BEAUTIFUL song by Billy Boyd (Pippin). Wow you're so right with that Skyrim reference! Laketown is totally Riften. I'd like to think it was Peter Jackson's revenge for them basing Whiterun on Edoras lol. Also, WHAT WOULD GIMLI THINK if he heard you confusing his and that pointy-eared princeling's name the whole movie?!

So, i'm not sure why you don't leave a super duper blurred video open on the videos. we can lip read to sync up the video or use large light flashes and scene trasitions. having nothing but a time stamp when my internet laggs for .5 seconds i can't re-sync with you other than guessing what you're saying about a scene. giving us a super duper blurred version could do more for us than you might think.

Angmar is a place - the witchking you're referring to is the Witchking OF Angmar he founded angmar but eventually flee'd from there to Mordor. The 9 were buried in the High Fells which is closer to Rivendell. Angmar is in the far north!

To me the barrel-riding scene and Smaug are some of the best things in the Hobbit trilogy. I think they are awesome! As fort he realm of the woodland elves, we haven’t seen that in the lotr movies. It would probably clear things up a bit, if you checked out a map of middle earth. Don’t worry, it won’t spoil anything 😊

a minute into the video, is this bree? i don't friggen know bro you aint giving us enough to sync with mannnnggggg. i'm glad you realized you can do some stuff with buffy videos. you really gotta find a way to make it easier to sync these lengthy ones.

Thanks for the feedback, Shiby! Sorry to hear you are having trouble syncing. I know it may not be ideal, but have you tried possibly downloading my videos so they don't buffer? It may take a while as the movie videos are so long, but could help! I would love to have the blurred footage as you have previously suggested, but for movies I fear it while multiple the length of time the video will take export by several times. Hopefully we can work out a way to fix the issues you are running into and sorry for the headaches!

There is a scene in the third film that is legendary and gives me (I think most people ) goosebumps every time I see it. I just watched it now like 3 times 🤣🤣 never gets old

Your reaction is such a joy as always, Veggie... I'm just sad that I had to wait a few days to watch this one, since I was away! It's so nice seeing a younger, more impulsive and prejudiced Legolas in this film, knowing how his character is going to develop. I also love Thranduil as a character, he's so complex and interesting, and the actor plays him beautifully. I don't believe they ever mention it in the films, but the jewels he is so desperate to recover from the dwarves once belonged to his wife, Legolas' mother. I'm also so happy that you loved Tauriel, I absolutely adore her... and Kili, of course. Of the dwarves, Kili, Thorin and Balin are my favourites. :) Finally, I love to think that Frodo giving his name as "Underhill" in Bree came from hearing his uncle Bilbo tell the story of how he escaped the dragon. (P.S. Benedict Cumberbatch also voiced the Necromancer as well as the dragon.)

As others have already said, you are absolutely right with Smaug being voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch. They apparently even motion-captured him duing the lines and took some inspiration from that for how they animated Smaug. I really recommend watching the behind the scenes footage to that movie that apparently comes with the Extended Edition (be that on your own time or as another reaction), it's mindblowing how they did all of that. As for the video syncing, it worked rather well for me, even with only the "normal" edition. I had to pause my movie here and there, but was always able to tell when you reached the point where my version continued. Although I can understand that the beginning is hard to get correct, since depending on where you are watching it, the studio logos etc may be in different order and/or length (for you it started with WB, for me with MGM). So it might be better to start the first 10 seconds of sync-footage when the actual movie starts, rather than for the logos.
