THE FLICKER OF THE Vs IS HERE!! WOW, I didn't expect episode 3 to be so... massive to the plot!  Loved it (and I have a sneaking suspicion most of you guys do too! XD).

Love where the plot is going, the relationship between Spike and Angel, everything! .... We just need to work on Spike's quips. XD

Love you guys! Definitely feels like a major momentum shift just happened! Have a great weekend!

There is a bit of behind the scenes stuff with the Annoying one. He _was_ supposed to be the Big Bad of the season, but the Writers kind of shot themselves in the foot. See, a child vampire is all fine and good as a consept, proper creepy and all that, but the thing is, he isn't supposed to age. That's the point, he is creepy because he is perpetually stuck in the same body as his mind ages. now, on paper, that makes sense. But the trouble is, _real_ actors actually _do_ grow, especiallyyoung kids. Collins actors was having rapit growth spurts and aging pretty visibly, so they decided to scrap th whole Idea before he bbecame a teenager in front of the Audience.

This was awesome. Thank you! I believe that the actor who plays Giles helped teach the actor for Spike how to talk in an English accent, but I'm sure it was still quite hard for the actor to do it fluently. At least he tried haha XD. Thank you so much. I like Spike's lines, but to each their own :). Spike is a great character and I'm glad you enjoyed his introduction. You're so wonderful and a cup of sunshine.

Ah Spike and Drusilla I love them so much but in different ways watching Buffy when it first aired I was 15 (season 1 and just turned 16 season 2) and loved the show for lots of reasons but the abundance of super attractive woman didn't hurt, Buffy,Willow,Cordelia,Jenny,Miss French, but Drusilla was the one for me. I guess it says a lot about my taste in woman lol I am now 41 and nothing has chanced :)

You finally get to meet Spike!! He’s my absolute favorite character! Another awesome video, Can’t wait for the next Buffy Friday :) I actually thought you were making a Harry Potter reference with the whole “not my daughter you b****” line from deathly hollows part 2 when Molly Weasley is fighting bellatrix lestrange lol 💛🦡💛

I completely forgot about Spike! and the whole when does a slayer become a slayer is talked about in the Movie ;) another reason to watch it :D

Okay so I was waiting to comment properly till I had the time to really sit down and think what to say but now I’ve forgotten what I wanted to say lol. This is a great episode, I like how it shows Spike’s strategical thinking throughout so while he doesn’t win against Buffy he still seems like a decent opponent. I think till this point the bigger villains don’t feel as real, to me this is where they become their own characters with thoughts and feelings. I’d say this episode is maybe an 8.5/10 I would say 9 but even though I LOVE this episode, i don’t think it even makes top 5 episodes of this season. That’s just how good this seasons episodes are to me so. It’s hard to reflect on this episode overall with a rating because it’s mostly the spike introduction episode to me. Side note, always bothered me that spike sings like fee fi foh and doesn’t make it rhyme or anything? Did they purposefully give him weird dialogue? Anyway, I think the writers decided to get rid of the Anointed because they realised how impractical a child of that age would be for filming as he was already growing despite the fact he was meant to be immortal. I am very much a stickler for accents. Bad accents kill movies and shows for me. It’s a testament to Buffy that it wasn’t ruined by Spike’s hammy accent. However, I actually have more forgiveness for it because they are vampires and if he’s been travelling the world for 200 years or something then his accent would be weird. Look at Billy Connolly! After years of touring etc, his accent has changed a lot. It’s natural. So I can actually make canon sense of it in my brain lol!!
