Woah Switzerland! Super cool. You should film a vlog for us there

agingwheels

I went in fully intending to make a vlog, but got so overwhelmed by my first time in Europe that I filmed almost nothing. I don't know if I filmed anything at all in Switzerland aside from the Microlino

TronDD

That's sweet! I was in Switzerland last year. Terrible. 😄

Keith Dosik

Totally understandable! Maybe you can make a video just talking about your experience for us😊 thanks Robert for the hard work

Kenneth Garrett

If you’re heading to other countries for videos, then how about Australia? There’s some guy there with an electric nugget that has cooked batteries.

Juhani Saarinen

Welcome to Europe! If you ever come to Finland, know you have friends here! 😎

Connie Dunn

So awesome! Sad it is not here in U.S.

HenchmanHenk

The blinker stalk is the same one as in the Mia! only that has the horn button on the steering wheel

beRn

tell him about unique to Finland cars and he'll be there ;)

Mauricio Mariano

Oh i drove one here in Brussels... it is a funny car good to drive in the city, unfortunately not enought speed to be usable on a highway.

beRn

super-guppy like front door; excellent!

Juhani Saarinen

That would probably be an Elcat, an electric kei car made from a diesel Subaru van in the 90s, used by postal service. I dont have one but I know where to ask for one!

agingwheels

You can keep up with trucks that are also limited to 90km/h. Because that's exactly where you want to be in a microcar, between two 40t trucks

Junky

YESSS i was wondering if you were going to cover this car eventually

Mark Mina

I absolutely love these kind of cars. I understand why they won't be a big thing in North Americas, but I wish so much I could get one. When I get my next larger car I fully intend on getting a lil smart for city stuff.

Nick Elrod

Great video! I think it's your duty as an American tourist to drive your borrowed car somewhere it doesn't belong.

Matthew

Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries ever to exist. If I spoke the native language, I’d 100% live there, so freaking beautiful

Vegasguy

Thanks for reviewing this! So much fun!

Gene Dassing

I know the market for these things here in the US is like 174 people but as a city dweller who would love an easy to park runaround, sign me up!

Honorary Octopus

I love how toylike it sounds when it accelerates. But I would never drive one in America, with the frankly ridiculously oversized vehicles common on American roads i'd fear being a roadbump slash pancake in that thing.

John Jenson

I was concerned about how long it’s been but clearly you had a good excuse and the sheer delight in the video was worth it

Mauricio Mariano

Im Belgium trucks can reach 120km/h, i had this experience with a smart, not very confortable. :) Similar to driving an old mitsubishi spider in florida between two semi-trucks... You humble. Hope you enjoyed the tour. :)

Next video title: I am moving to Switzerland.

Great video, and it is indeed very cute. And Switzerland is lovely. But apart from the light vehicle aspect, I have to ask why this, over say, any generation of Smart fortwo? It would be interesting to compare the footprint, as I suspect the micro is a little narrower. Yet my 15 year old fortwo is in better condition, can be picked up for around 1/4 the price for the top spec turbo Brabus model, maybe 1/8th the price for the cooking model. Same niche, but better 🤷‍♂️
