I was excited to show off the Codas I picked up from Cali, and what better place to share this information before I reveal it publicly?

You're really going to have the YouTube market cornered on low-volume EVs converted from Chinese-market cars. I'm hyped.

Jorg Rademaker

Are you first going to drive them a bit? I'd love to see what they look like!

agingwheels

I'd love to, but that'll have to wait. The tires are shot, and there's no gearbox oil

Bo Byriel Nielsen

Fantastic! Can I have some more, please?

DiscoKazuma

The bus company I used to drive for are extremely excited about the new electric buses they've just received, years in the making... And you're just going to make a hybrid bus all by yourself! I certainly look forward to watching you try!

Of all the Youtubers to offer you a car, I think Tavarish is probably the best option. You know it'll be worked on. The worst one would be Sam Cracc who just likes to buy auction cars and then sell them or give them away when he can't easily fix everything by deleting error codes and $100 worth of parts lol.

Sean Feichtenbiner

Holy crap, that's awesome!! Can't wait to see the Coda Content! :)

LevyNeptune

Great update! I can't wait to see what you get from Florida

Mat Gadd

What state are you in? I have no idea how far California is, is that like an hour or a day away? - a confused Brit

I live in Missouri. California is 1800 miles away. It's three full days of driving one way

Hey! I love your videos! If you are ever in OKC, I just finished my half size Foden steam truck, I think it would be right up your alley. The design is 1922, it weighs 2500 pounds, can go 25 mph and burns coal. It is worthless at almost everything and needs constant maintenance, so it is perfect. Anyway, thanks for the great videos, glad to be a patron.

Robert, just saw the first new episode of Car Trek with Ed, Tyler, and Freddie today and saw that your Reliant Robin makes an appearance in the stinger for the next episode as well as you getting a 'special thanks' credit; I'm chuffed seeing you getting some higher-profile love.

agingwheels

I didn't even notice the special thanks credit. I was thrilled to be a part of the production

If all else fails EVTV.ME has developed the "Generalized Electric Vehicle Control Unit (GEVCU) which is available with CODA UQM control capability. If you check the EVTV.ME site you will find that UQM drive motors and control units built for CODA are NOT the same as their stock items and require special software to be functional.

Watching episode 2 right now, so awesome to see them in your shop! And Ed in the Reliant Robin, he barely fits! So cool.
