I may have accidentally made an educational video. I learned a ton from this project and putting together this video. And I filmed it wildly out of order. I'd learn something new and have to go back and re-explain some older piece of information. There are several back to back clips in this video that were filmed a month apart. Hopefully this didn't turn out too talking-heavy. I normally try to condense explanations and the whole video as much as possible, but I went for thorough this time. It'll be interesting to see how well this does.

Project sum-up (spoiler alert): You replaced an intermittent gas engine with an intermittent electric motor. This is the quality content that I expect from this channel. Bravo!

Really great video! Electronics, machining, fabrication and welding, what more could you want? Sucks that you couldn't get it working though, I hope it works out in the end.

Neat project even though most of the electrical stuff was a bit beyond my pay grade.

The question isn’t whether or not you’re a genius. The question is what you’re doing with your genius. A high powered vehicle with few safety features and exposed pinch points: are you *trying* to create an obese fifty year old with an atypical number of fingers? Give the lad a spiffy pair of running shoes and let him experience the wind blowing though his hair the proper way! Aside: I just purchased a new pair of running shoes. Now if only I had the hair (or speed, or, horrors, new knee) ... .
