Holy crap my dad used to have a Ford Explorer when I was a kid. I think it was a 92 or 93. He had it decked out with lights because he worked for the ambulance core. Fun fact a house door key can fit into the key slot on the door and get stuck and terrify your 5 year old self till you get it out

That has to be one of my favorite ad reads for quite a while.

Great video as always, looking forward to seeing what you do with it! The transmission on our Dodge Grand Caravan just died at 250,000 miles. RIP.

Hang on a minute, this is the same Ford Explorer as the one you reviewed 7 years ago. It has holes in just the same places that one was rusty. Sneaky.

Dear Robert, great catch! :-) as an idea, instead of an outright destruction on purpose: wouldn’t it be great to go on an off-road expedition? Just repair what’s *absolutely* necessary, remove the rear seats, put an air mattress in the back, and go exploring until the thing really breaks! That might make for a few great videos, and it would be a *real* low-cost overland experience. Of course you might need to get rescued. Maybe Starlink would sponsor the trip? :-)
