About the intelligence part, not sure we have to say, obviously there’s no difference because in science we just explore things and things are just the way they are sometimes. But I firmly agree other explanations have to be considered and we have to try to explain and be very sure if we put things like that into the world. For example, as a women, I just read a book, written by a women that explored womens intelligence. I was also relieved to find that there are differences between man and women but generally it’s the same even though we apparently have smaller brains generally (fun fact I didn’t know and they never taught us that, weirdly because it’s fascinating!) I think it was even stated that intelligence is evenly spread throughout the world, so that seems to be a scientific fact (although I think it remains hard to measure I think). The researcher, a women, even tried to open the discussion against herself because some people like to not look things in the eye because of the sensitivity around it. I think you have a similar stance for similar things like for example the topic of suicide, but still, as a scientist and curious person I prefer to be as objective as possible, even when we would not like the outcome. That being said, and also not being an expert in intelligence ratings, I do think there are way more other explanations for ratings that are different and intuitive wise I would also think humans are generally evenly intelligent. Btw race is not even a thing biologically for us. I know people use it because it is generally used but people with different skin color are not another race in a scientific (biology) sense. I would like it if people stopped using it because it ‘otherizes’ people in my opinion but I get that it is not something that would happen soon, given that it is used that much and maybe I am wrong for thinking that not everybody knows that fact.

I wonder if CTE might have played a role.
