Mine craft used to be my favorite game growing up ! What an interesting episode ! In one of my university courses, I developed an intervention strategy in counseling using Pokémon cards. Such cool way to approach counseling especially with younger clientele. It also highlights the importance of understanding the generation your clients belong to when using game-based interventions. It's a cool way for the development of a trusting therapeutic relationship ! One of my professors even suggested using social media as an intervention strategy, for example when exploring someone’s identity or interests with teenager.
