Sketch pages: cicada + Hock heads (Patreon)

Bugs in Valoris are oversized so I'm playing around with the idea of giving Hock a cicada sidekick. Now the question becomes: do I fudge the anatomy and give them eyelids for the sake of expressions or stay true to standard cicada form and give them permanent o_________o face?

Also, some more design ideas for Hock because I can't leave well enough alone.
