Western AU Character Design: Stella (Patreon)

as I said in my story horses are important. Stella is Caesar's mount and she's a maremmano mare. 

Ok, history time: the maremmano is buttero's horse (along with the tolfetano) and one of my favorite breed. Do you know what' cool? It's avery ancient breed and its origins go back to the Etruscan age, it's a mix of arabian, berber and nordic horses. It's a little italian pride, a very hard worker BUT it demands an expret rider, a firm hand and respect. 

I could have given Caesar so many fancy or cool horses but he must ride a strong and stubborn horse, just like him.
