Progress Report + Character Theme Poll (Patreon)

Hey everyone, I hope you’ve all had a good new year and are excited for everything to come in 2025. I have a few things to go over with you that will be coming this month and then some other ideas for how I would like to do some things differently and also a poll for the character theme for this months character poll.

New Scene - Animation Sync

So as you might know this mid month update is going to be getting a new scene which was voted for by you last month, it was a very close poll at the start but in the end this against wall one won by a decent margin. What I have been working on with this scene before I actually start the colour is how I would like it to sync up, I’m trying to improve the way I animated scenes to give them a better overall feel and a lot of that is to do with how different parts of the body sync up.

I did 4 different animations for this that I thought looked good and was asking around which ones look the best towards the end of last month and from what people were saying it was two of them that looked a lot better than the others. These are the two that most people thought were the best

Let me know if one of them looks better than the other, although this might change when I add the full colour so I’ll see if I can get them both done in full colour to make it easier to decide which is best.

The plan for this scene is also to make use of the outside of the house which hasn’t had any scenes added to it yet. I don’t have the background done yet but they are being worked on at the moment and will hopefully have one ready for the next WIP. If you go outside now some of the houses have a little arrow on the right, when the scene is added you will be able to click that and view the scene there with some other scenes hopefully coming soon for that location. On that note if you have any scenes ideas you think would fit well there please let me know.

Another cool thing this does allow me to do is have the scene be viewed in either night or day time depending what the current time in game is which should be quite a cool kind of Qom thing for you to enjoy.

Any other suggestions about this scene or things you’d like to see added please let me know, someone was talking about an*l which I think I could do in the future as this scene would be perfect for it but probably won’t have time to get it added right away.

Character Poll Theme

For this month you will be getting a character poll but I haven’t decided the exact theme I would like yet, I have a couple of ideas but if you have any other themes you think would be good please let me know and I can get some character heads drawn and include them in the next theme poll.

Even if the one you want doesn’t win please still do suggest some characters for them as I always like to have new ideas, some other themes would also be nice and I’m going to go over in the part just below my plan for allowing more stuff to have a chance of winning polls to get a bit more variety.

I would like to do an anime poll soon as well as its been a while since we had one of them i think, i'll probably add that as an option to vote for next time what have a character poll :D

New Plan For Polls

So for a while now the polls have worked in the way that new options get added each time when also keeping the ones that didn’t win. This meant that if the new option that got added was one a lot of people want the older options didn’t get a chance again really. You can see this even more so in the feature focus polls where options that have one in the past get added back and we kind of go in a cycle of those options always winning.

Now the idea I have for fixing this is that new options / winners from previous feature focus polls will be added every other time that certain poll comes around, this means there will be less options every two times the poll comes round meaning some of the other options will get their chance to be added in until they have all had their time. I don’t know if I’ve explained that well so I’ll try and give an example.

Example -

• There are 5 options in the feature focus poll

• The scene things wins

• There are 4 options in the next feature focus poll

• Something else wins

• There are 4 options in the next feature focus poll as the scene thins is added back

• Scene things wins again

• There are 3 options in the next feature focus poll

• Something else wins

• There are 3 things in the feature focus poll as the winner of the second poll gets added back

Etc

Hopefully that kind of makes sense and is a good way of giving some of the other options for every poll a chance. I will be trialling this with the feature focus poll for a couple of months to see how it goes, this month I will be adding one of the old winners back as there wasn’t on added last month and then next month there will be no new options added.

Some Examples Of What Could Be In Future Feature Focus Polls Incase You Haven’t Seen Already

For this one above, someone said the way the hand is positioned doesn't look the best so i'm going to try and change it to have it look like it fits with where the guy is, this might mean you can only see the fingers though as the come round

Other Stuff For 2025

One of the other things I was thinking about recently that I would like to start doing is working on features already added in without having to wait for them to win the feature focus poll. An example of this is the C*mshot feature which was added a few month ago to 3 scenes, normally I would wait for this to win in the feature focus poll again and then added it to 3 or 4 more scenes during that update. However what iw as thinking is for some updates where im not adding a character or scene I normally just add a decent amount of outfits, maybe some head redesigns etc. In these updates I think it would be nice to improve and add to some of the features already in the game just to keep them going and new stuff coming. Keeping with he example of the c*mshot feature I don’t think I’d be able to add it to 3-4 new scenes if im also working on other things but I could maybe to 1 of the scenes.

This is how a couple of them are looking as well, if I did this it would mean a couple less unique outfits for those updates but I think it would be nice to have a wide variety of stuff added instead.

Road Map For 2025 Coming Soon - Leave Suggestions Please :)

This part is kind of where I need your help. I haven’t written up the road map for 2025 but it will hopefully be coming at the start of next month. What I would like form you is to leave any suggestions you have for the game that you think could be worked on over this year. This could be suggestion for new features, ways to improve the game, QOL stuff or just anything you think would be a nice addition. I'll take a note of all the ones it seems people like and see if they are possible and then try and get a nice post together that should let you know what I plan on focusing on.

This has been an amazing 2024 for the game, there has been so much improvement over the last year I just can’t believe it but most importantly it has been so nice to see your continued support with suggestions and overall appreciation of the game with all the nice comments. Thank You So So Much and I can’t wait to see how the games looking this time next year :D
