Lane the blues cowboy is flying through the air. I believe he wasn't satisfied with this version so we tried something else.

I'll be honest, I don't remember if I was actually dissatisfied with this pose, I know I chose my other character from my non-DK story Black Ice to be included in the Omnibus Cameo; while I liked the Skirmish card art of Lane the Cowboy with his pet ryuu-neko Ryku. HOWEVER, if I have the sheer will of God by my side with insane levels of luck, I might wanna have this be upgraded to pencils and/or colors for a possible commission from Dave in the future.

Oh! That's probably what happened. We have the blues saved, so Dave is able to work on top of it and finish it if we do this commission. I think the newer version looks better for the card anyway, you get a good look at the face.
