0:00 - Purpose of the Fix

6:03 - The 8.6mm Blackout Cartridge

12:33 - Rifle Features

21:13 - Disassembly

29:35 - My Complaints

31:49 - At the Range

There is a ton to go over in this video...I noticed the Fix when it first came out, but it didn't become really interesting to me until the version in 8.6mm Blackout hit the market. Fundamentally, the Fix is a very light, modular, and ergonomic bolt action utility rifle. In 8.6mm, I think it is a magnificent hunting weapon - virtually silent while offering excellent terminal performance with a heavy expanding projectile.

I am going to be using this rifle with an AGM Rattler TS35-640 thermal optic in Midnight Brutality, so stick around for that video tomorrow!

Ian, could you include metric values in your videos. Most of the world doesn't use the Imperial but the metric system

Careful now Ian, give an inch and us pesky non-'mericans wil take a .........

Cooper actually wanted a bipod, but Styer did not include it. I don't think so much for shooting off of, but to have a means of putting a rifle down. The folding stock is nice, but would be nicer if it did not have as many parts to get caught on things.

What does the suppessor look like inside?

Really neat gun. And made not far from where I'm working at the moment. The $3500 price tag, tho... whew...

Personally, I prefer the 338 Specter, since it fits in the AR15 footprint, sub-sonic ammo uses 10mm brass & supersonic max performance stuff would work best with cut down 6.8 Rem brass? Not as much commercial ammo or brass available, not to mention a complete dearth of Kool Advertising to oogle over either. They are cool little rifles though

I have watched you channel for may years and it's interesting how you have progressed from a reviewer of guns to a user of guns and now a hunter. I going to predict that your next step will be reloading in the pursuit of smaller groups at longer ranges.

To expensive for this old man

Guido Schriewer

some asian dude in texas gets sweaty hands watching this.... . damn that looks spaceage. way to modern overall but surprisingly the stock looks not that bad.
