I have been catching up on the Toaru/Raildex franchise these past two weeks or so. It's been years, so I was very surprised to learn the novels are still ongoing. 50+ main series books + all the spin-offs is a hell of a thing.

Can you believe it has not even been a year in-universe? It's actually closer to six months. The Toaru timeline is crazy, even more so when one counts spin-offs, which go "Yeah, turns out the protagonist from the main series lost an arm and regrew it in this one spin-off arc that takes place between these two novels. Also, dragons."

Makes me want to go, "Yeah, between these two chapters of AXRY which are like a couple of days apart, there was this whole crazy adventure."

Here are the week's chapters:

Chapter 318: Duel and Duel is now available for Core Disciples.

Chapter 314: Survival is now available for Inner Disciples.

Chapter 310: Forge and Flame is now available for Outer Disciples.

For all our new patrons, here is a list of all the chapters you get to catch up on. Note that, depending on your tier, you might not be able to view all of them yet.

Some authors aren't good with timelines and spacing stuff out like you are. Worm is one of my favorite web serials but that was a glaring weak point.

Feel like Japanese story telling to me. In universe timelines are so screwy. Big events back to back that take tens to hundreds of chapters, years to tell and its only been 24 hours in universe. One piece and Hajime No Ippo come into mind. Then you get Chinese and Korean authors trying to one up eachother with thousands of years in timeskips.
