Elijah Overland

I can't help but think the Wandering Wind is just waiting to see if tERV is ever going to produce another person of worth like her. I suspect when they inevitably fail her tests she might just toss them into the sea.

Seb Farnell

"No doubt, the Death Fashioning Scripture and the Temple of the Thousand Shadows will not be as retrained, but that is within parameters." - I think 'retrained' is meant to be restrained.

Gopard

Thanks for the chapter!

Logrus

Huh... I wonder if this all ends with Jin uniting the four sects in an alliance against the other side of the dead plains? Perhaps all four together plus the Storm Dragon Empire (with Jin's hax) could put up a fight?

Gardor

"and the scent of blood lingers in his mouth." ->prob "taste", right?

Valerian

Wow, so the ERV are outright puppets to the Sword clan. I bet this explains the Wandering Wind. Her whole persona is a rebellion against their nigh absolute control of her Sect.

Luke Charles

Liu Jin's theme song being from Mobile Suit Gundam seems appropriate for some reason I cannot quite put my figner on.

Luke Charles

It's weird, so far the Mountain sect is the only great sect that doesn't have a potential harem candidate. Though the ERV's candidate, Su Daji is the disciple of the Wandering Wind, so probably useless.

Cynical Pasta

Great chapter, wonderfully amusing stuff in there and generally great characterisation

while trusting the creepy necromancers to actually be in charge of it is a terrible idea, I do agree with them that the barrier gotta go. turtling behind it forever with their heads in the sand is a stupid idea. way back it was said that the other side of the dead plains "recovered first" from whatever fuckery occured so I had thought they were waiting for the whole continent to recover, to maximize cultivator power before dealing with the demons. but it seems like they had no intention of doing it at all.
