Power-cycle. Different from restarting because you will actually power the system down all the way. Unplug the power cord, give it about 15 + seconds then plug the power back in, and then power the system back up. Restarting you're just hitting the restart option. Power-cycling can often help better than just restarting.

Don't worry about it, I'm 60 and you can take it from me that when you hit 30 it might be all downhill from there, but it can be a beautiful ride. Or not, it all depends on how you live your life. I've known a lot of people who didn't even make it to 30. So, decide what you really want and either settle down and pop out a couple of kids or kill someone and end up in prison. That is something, that seems to be a goal of some of the people in our government. Forget about the gun control issue, for right now. Every time any crisis occurs. Somebody in our various federal, state, or local governments either call for, or suggest curtailing the rights of the people to speak, gather, publish, worship, or even travel. When you throw in the right for even the simplest defense of self or family it starts to look very much like someone wants to bring back medieval feudalism. Even worse if you're an actual solider, and are rationed 60 bullets per day. Although to be fair in real life 1-2 bullets is all it takes, not 10+ like in videogames. Still, full auto in the real world means you won't have ammo for most of the day.

If every car is travelling over the posted limit it’s actually safer to match their speed rather than stick to the limit and be “slower”. Keeping to the flow of traffic is the best option, even if the flow of traffic is going 5 over the limit

The whole "I didn't need to hear that" is probably in reference to a number of issues that a psychiatrist is legally required to report. Especially if it was said in jest. Because even in jest, they still have to perform their duties as a Mandatory Reporter. As for censoring the word suicide. I'm recovered now, but was suicidal for most of my life. from about 14 to 35. I've been free for almost two years now. Hearing the phrase "unalive" or a BEEP whenever the word was used just brought more attention to it and was far more likely to make me think about it. It made it seem like a joke. As if it's not being taken seriously. Yes, lots of people do joke about it, but when you're watching a serious video that they use the term "unalive" it's actually irritating. The practice came about as a means to fight bullying. And had the opposite effect.

'uncomfortable truth - middle age isn't 50, it's 38' two points. first and foremost, people can/are living longer, so not sure 38's really 'the middle' anymore. secondly, fucking no one was saying 50 is middle age. they're now saying '50's not that old'. getting to 35 and having your 'mid life crisis' was still very much the thing. you might be confusing it with like, retirement ish ages, which aren't supposed to be anything close to 'worked half your life, relax the back half', no, they wanted you to work till 65 and then die at 67. that has nothing to do with 'middle age', however.
