In that second clip of the judge who looks like The Riddler, the prosecutor wasn't trying to add jaywalking to the charges. The defendant was charged with possession of marijuana, and the judge was asking under what probable cause he had been approached and detained by police when they searched him and found said reefer. The prosecutor tried to obfuscate the reason with big, fancy words, but then reluctantly admitted that it was jaywalking, and the judge wasn't buying it because people don't usually get busted for that. The judge then dismissed the charges because he felt the initial reason for the stop was not a legitimate one, that it was based in racism and violated the defendant's rights. That's what happened, there.

If the smell of weed was the real reason for the stop, the cop would have used that. I'm no soft on crime leftie but the fact that jaywalking has historically been and continues to be used as a reason to stop and frisk people is undeniable. This case lands square into the realm of unreasonable search and seizure and is a violation of his 4th amendment rights.

They had already decided to live just the two of them before the channel got deleted. Jenny said on her stream that they were getting an apartment just the two of them when they moved. I don't know if kai stayed in Seattle. But the channel got deleted during the move so the decision was made before then. And besides that Henry has stated in the past that he made more off patron then he did YouTube. And Jenny's stream makes the most anyway.

The smell of marijuana is no longer sufficient to rise to probable cause. As this has been overused as an excuse for various forms of searches in the recent past, a couple of federal courts have thus ruled. Unless you're in a very small town where everybody is cited for jaywalking. Your probable cause will most likely fly right out of the window.

Sad to say that UTube has the funds for the lawyers. They can bankrupt Henry and Jeannie before they get through discovery. But our heroes are young, creative and highly motivated, they have landed on their feet and will move forward and I believe be highly successful in whatever the future holds for them. He didn't get arrested for j-walking. He got arrested for possesion of marijuana. The only reason the police knew he had marajuana was because they frisked him using the j-walk as probable cause. What would make you think someone had anything illegal on them because they "j-walked" of all things. You can tell the prosecutor thought it was BS because they tried to fool the judge by painting j-walking as something more serious with BS grammar. Granted he was still in possesion of marijuana and even the judge told him to do better, but no one should have known what he was in possition of in the first place, least of all the government.

It's kinda bullshit to bust anyone for jaywalking, unless that person obstructed traffic in the process and/or caused an accident to occur. I'm not a big fan of this particular judge for multiple reasons, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

South Korea is infamous for its extreme beauty standards; to be considered "pretty" you have to look flawless, blemish-less, etc. They often get surgery done to standarise their nose bridge, eyebrows, cheekbones, etc. They also spend the most compared to PPP on make-up, by far. Japan on the other hand tends to focus on what you have naturally; if someone has a mole they'll try to accentuate that mole rather than covering it with make-up or even lasering it away; if someone has a crooked tooth that stands out they try to accentuate that, find a way to smile pretty with the crooked tooth. In general, South Korean women *tend* to look completely perfect because they spend money on the make-up and surgeries to look perfect. While Japanese women's flaws are easily visible because they actually try to work their beauty around those flaws. Given how incredibly similar their cultures often are, it's very surprising how different these countries are in this aspect.
