I'm not too new to your channel, as I subbed a couple months ago. Been enjoying going through the backlog. Certainly a few late night binge sessions while I was at it, lol. ;) It's cool to know you guys are up here in Seattle. I've called it home here as well for the past decade, tho getting ready to move out of state here in a few months. But, one thing I'll definitely miss here is the food and snacks. There is so many options here, tho by far Uwajimaya and Daiso are my favorite snack stops. Tho generally I prefer the ones in Bellevue. The ID in Seattle has unfortunately gotten a bit sketchy over the recent years. =/ But, that being said, if you guys need/want any food/snack recommendations, don't hesitate to ask!

So the guy from compuserve that created the acronym said it was pronounced "Jiff" back in the 80s. I refuse to call it that because the first letter stands for graphics (graphics interchange format) which has a hard G sound. That debate has been going on since the standard was created. As one of the old guys of the internet, I remember this debate from back in the BBS days pre-internet.

About why people are subscribers to your patreon. For me it's because I like you two and want to give you just a little security for when YouTube bends you guys over a barrel and doesn't even offer a courtesy spit. In regards to the conversation around 4:17 I dont get on here much or watch alot of the vids on here but supporting the Patreon is my way of giving back to you 2. Went through a bad spell couple years ago with depression from a work related injury and your videos and content helped me through it. My way of giving back. Cops might be called 12 after a 1970’s tv cop show called ADAM 12. That was the ‘code name’ for the police car they rode in. The police also have a radio code called 10-12. Apparently it means that “guests” are in the area they’re patrolling. There was also a cop show called Hawaii 5-0 in the 70’s. Hence the Knick name 5-0 for the cops. Lol yes I’m aware this is a dumb explanation.
