I won't get to watch until later, but I certainly hope it's the theatrical cut. The producer's cut is...strange.

Tron of Seven

I can understand Tara and Roxy reaction's to this movie but if you know all the history behind it could have been the best sequel of franchise....the writer Daniel Farrands original script was a lots more tension and barely any blood (exactly like the original Hallowen) but they ( The damn Weinstein bros) basically ruined it all!!! most of what you see in this movie its about only 20%-30% of the Farrands's script they were so many rewrites ordered by the Weinstein i know of the writer brought in was Rand Ravich.....an example towards the end the room with the embryo that wasnt in the Daniel Farrands script. The producer cut makes it a better movie but still wasnt 100% what Daniel Farrands wrote....you got to keep in mind Donald Pleaseace was totally in board to come back because he loved the Daniel Farrands original script that would also explain why Paul Rudd signed on to (he goes by Paul Stephen Rudd) because the was the very first movie he starred in, i actually his reactions towards the end it was Tommy first time seeing Michael since the night of 1978. The girl at the beginning was Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris charecter from 4 and 5) but she dint come back from dispute salary so they cast JC Brandy in her place. Basically Daniel Farrands and the actor were victims of the Weinstein bros (Miramax and Dimension Films) The Moustapha Akkad crew (Nightfall Production) left during production since it wasnt the film they wanted to make. Joe Chappelle the director wasnt an Halloween fan (it shows) hes not a good director...they even took 1 million (of 4millions) of H6 budget to give to Hellraiser 4 Bloodline which Chapelle come in to finished that movie, the musical score (which i own) composed by Alan Howarth (who's been doing it since part 2) add to re score to music for the theatrical version...his orignal score is so much better (theres no guitar in it). ive seen both version i still think its better H5 ... i love the look of H6 the best Halloween atmosphere but not many thing going in his favor definitely not the best sequel but certainly not the worst if you know what mean the next couples Halloween movies ..yikes

I certainly understand why people don't care for this movie. But I do like the way Michael is brutal in this one. As far as the cult stuff...I choose to believe that the cult just thought that they were controlling Michael, and he finally stopped playing along. 😂

I'm wondering if Tara and Roxy will be told the next movie Halloween H20 is a direct sequel to part 2 Ignoring parts 3-6 (Like Jamie Lloyd never existed in that NEW timeline.

Oh her character in the movie really annoyed me. The one friend actually helps stake the vampires and she gets taken away. Meanwhile, Hilary character survives. Shenanigans I say! lol
