Ah yes. The worst Blade movie. I still enjoyed it. Blade I was dark, grounded, and just a landmark movie for comic books films. Blade II was even darker, with amazing action, and Guillermo Del Toro's influence seeping throughout (wild creatures, gothic ambience). Trinity... is not a serious film. It's pretty jarring, but I don't think it's a terrible film. Though I wish we could get more of Del Toro's vision for Blade, at least we got the two Hellboy movies as surrogates for a dark, gothic style comic films with a hint of humor, imaginative creatures, and iconic but lesser known (at the time) heroes. And yes, I refuse to accept there are any more than two Hellboy films. Unfortunately, even Snipes really hated working on Blade Trinity. He had huge issues with both production and his castmates, especially Reynolds. At one point he literally refused to open his eyes while filming and they had to CGI him opening his eyes in the morgue scene. He would spend days in his trailer getting high when he was supposed to be filming, so they had to use stand ins and CGI. Honestly, not sure what the deal is, since he seemed to enjoy working on the first two films. He apparently hated the script, hated the original director, and hated when the writer (for all 3 movies) was then chosen as the replacement director. Some people say he's always been a giant douche, like when he beat Halle Berry when they were in a relationship to the point he burst her eardrum and she lost hearing in one ear for a time.

Mfs were ice skating up hill when they made this movie but it's still watchable. SciFi channel friday night feature movie quality but still a good time. And Ryan Reynolds makes me wanna do situps everytime I see this. I mean is he even real?!?!
