Oh nice. I'm looking forward to watching this with the both of you. It'll be great to watch with Coy the Joy and Aaron the Wordsmith.

I hate to say it, but I would want the movie to be a little more entertaining and not just visually stunning, Like, this really feels like and old book story/movie, but the effects required fore more action.

I loved this review from 2 of my favorite rejects! Beautiful, brooding and epic. In many ways it pairs well with Robert Eggers Nosferatu but this movie has all of the detail and vulnerability that Guillermo Del Toro is known for. He is a master at drawing out the humanity in both the protagonist and villains in his films. This film is the closest to the source material as any I have seen, incredible when you consider the novel was written by an 18 year old girl. Such a masterful understanding of evil and the human condition, no matter where it is found. So good! Great job guys!
