Just read all of Bob again. It was great. That was not the ending I remember. Seemed like the last chapter had a lot more going on in the second read. Very good. Brilliant.

Just re-read the climax. Damn, that was nuts. I love that new title, “First of the Deathwalkers”. I doubt there will ever be another. It took a literal demigod to incarnate Enttiku, and one with a temperament well-matched to the goddess. The power to wield vast death and the compassion not to do so unless truly necessary.
